The feed. One lead item at full width, the rest three across — a page whose whole job is to make the newest thing obvious and the rest scannable.
What it is made of
Nothing on this page is new. It is GdPageHeader over a GdCard in its horizontal media form, then a grid of the same card in its vertical form — the difference between the lead and the rest is size and orientation, not a second component.

- One lead, and only one. Two items at lead size is a page with no opinion about what matters, which costs the reader the one thing an index is for.
- The date is metadata, not a heading. It sits with the category chip above the title, at caption size — a reader scans titles and consults dates.
- The card is the link, not a "read more". The whole card is interactive; the arrow is an affordance, not the hit area. A separate link inside an interactive card gives a keyboard user two stops for one destination.
- Three across, one down. The grid collapses to a single column below medium rather than to two — a two-up card at phone width is narrower than its own headline wants.
- An empty feed still has a page. Use
GdEmptyState; a heading over nothing reads as a failed load.
